Feminist Dystopia and Indigenous Models of Subjection: A Feminist Critique of Hanif Mohammad’s Red Birds

This paper explores the indigenous women’s portrayal as agency and subjection by attempting to determine extent which these women become representations of third world in comparison white context new Orientalist theory postcolonial literary discourses. The selected text, Red Birds Hanif Mohammad, has been read under lens orientalism particularly relevant Lady Flower Body, Mother Dear Cathy. though runs on theme war terrorism its devastations narrative but while doing so, it projects multiple levels identities west well who constantly experience subjection. study reveals that World are experiencing feminist dystopia because have failed sharing fruits movement.
